Ambrane is renowned for its excellent power banks, offering various models with varying features and capacities.

These power banks come in capacities ranging from 10,000mAh to 50,000mAh and boast features such as fast charging, wireless charging for iPhones, and compatibility with laptops and MacBooks.

Undoubtedly, Ambrane power banks are top-notch. However, things can take a turn when issues arise, such as earbuds suddenly ceasing to function.

Last week, I encountered a similar situation when my PowerLit XL model abruptly stopped working.

Immediately turning to Google for solutions, I found numerous fixes and tips. Fortunately, I could resolve the issue with my power bank using these solutions.

So, if you’re experiencing the same problem, don’t worry—I’ve compiled all the fixes in this guide. Just keep reading to find the solution you need.

Why is Ambrane PowerLit XL not working?

Before moving on to the fixes, let’s discuss why your earbuds may not work.

Your Ambrane power bank may not work for several reasons, including a faulty charging cable, overheating, faulty circuitry, and software glitches.

Among these, the most common issue I have also experienced is a software glitch.

However, don’t worry—these problems can be easily resolved at home. You don’t need a professional to fix your power bank’s issues.

How do I fix Ambrane PowerLit XL not working?

Now that we’ve identified some common reasons let’s move on to some easy fixes.

Check the Charging Cable and Adapter:

First, ensure that your charging cable and adapter are working properly.

Sometimes, the issue lies in the cable and adapter rather than the power bank.

Check Charging cable

Here’s how to fix it:

  • Use another cable and adapter to check whether the power bank or your cable is the problem.
  • If the issue is with the cable and adapter, replace them with new ones.
  • I recommend using USB-C cables, which are compatible with Ambrane power banks.

Inspect Connections:

The second thing to check is the connections between the power bank and the device you’re trying to charge.

Ensure the connections are secure and clean. Dust or debris can accumulate in the ports over time, preventing proper contact.

Here’s what you need to do if there is dust or debris:

  • Use a soft, dry brush or a can of compressed air to gently remove dust or debris from the connections.
  • Avoid using anything sharp or abrasive that could damage the ports.
  • Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the ports and connectors to ensure they are free from dirt or grime.

Reset the power bank:

If the issue remains the same even after following the above fixes, then the best idea is to reset it.

Resetting can help resolve the not-working issue in Ambrane power banks by restoring the device to its default settings. This can sometimes clear out any software glitches or errors causing the problem.

How to Reset Ambrane Power Bank?

To reset an Ambrane power bank, you can usually follow these steps:

  • Locate the reset button on the power bank. This button is typically small and may be labelled “Reset.”
  • Press and hold the reset button for a few seconds using a small pointed object, such as a paper clip or a pen tip.
  • Release the reset button once you feel a slight click or notice the power bank’s lights flashing, indicating the reset process has begun.
  • Allow the power bank to reset fully, which may take a few seconds. Once reset, you can try using it again to see if the issue has been resolved.

Suppose your Ambrane power bank doesn’t have a reset button. In that case, you can disconnect it from any charging sources and then let it sit idle for a few minutes before reconnecting and attempting to use it again.

This can sometimes have a similar effect as a reset.

Battery Voltage:

When a power bank sits unused or uncharged for a long time, its battery voltage can drop a lot.

This happens because the battery slowly loses power and goes through chemical changes.

To fix this and bring the power bank back to life, do these simple steps:

  • Plug it in: Connect the power bank to a working power source using its charging cable.
  • Charge for 5 to 6 hours: Let it charge for about 5 to 6 hours. This gives the battery enough time to get back its power.
  • Keep an eye on it: Check the charging process now and then to ensure everything goes smoothly.
  • Don’t overcharge: Unplug it once it’s been charging long enough. Overcharging can harm the battery.
  • Check if it’s working: After charging, see if the power bank is normal. You can use it to charge your devices or look for any indicator lights showing it’s ready.
  • Repeat if needed: If it’s still not working right, you might need to charge it again. Sometimes, it takes a few tries to revive it completely.

Try on a different device:

Another potential solution is to test the power bank with a different device, as sometimes the issue may be with the device rather than the power bank itself.

Plug another device into the power bank and observe if it begins to charge.

If the second device charges successfully, it indicates that the power bank is functioning properly and that its charging capability is not in question.

try on different device

In this scenario, the problem likely lies with the original device not charging.

However, if the alternate device fails to charge, it could indicate a potential problem with the power bank.

Further investigation would be needed to identify faults in the power bank’s connections, capacity, or other components.

Contact Customer Support:

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, the power bank may have a defect.
